OverviewMT2 performed the remediation of the former Baldwin Metals industrial site, approximately 3,000 cubic yards of contaminated soil. Surface and subsurface soils contained concentrations of arsenic (As) above Arizona Residential and Non-Residential Soil Remediation Level (R-SRL and NR-SRL, respectively) of 10 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg). Historical soil samples collected from the Site exhibited arsenic concentrations ranging from less than 5 mg/kg to nearly 1,000 mg/kg. MT2 ServicesMT2 successfully performed turnkey remedial actions including all erosion and stringent dust control, arsenic contaminated soil treatment, sampling and analysis, and transportation and disposal of treated soils as non-hazardous waste at a Subtitle D landfill. |
